Message From TheDirector of Grounds
	The golf courses are drying out from an extremely wet month of June. Overall we received close to 10” of rain compared to an average of 2.5”, but both golf courses have recovered extremely well. We have been focusing our attention on the detail work and getting caught up with the mowing schedule throughout both courses. Bunkers have been edged and the majority of the exposed bunker liner has been removed. Over 50 tree stumps have been taken out from both the Pines and the Bay with still a few more to finish. Lastly, we have also incorporated some perennial landscape beds on holes #4 and #17 of the Bay. In the upcoming month we will be continuing to focus on the detail work. Incorporating light sand topdressing to firm up and smooth out our greens, and mowing down some of the tall native fescue on the Bay are two main priorities. As we move forward with our detail work weed eradication will also become a priority. With a property of this age there are many species of native weeds that are present that we must focus our attention on. Some of the great characteristics of the Bay course are the water views and the views of Atlantic City. We will be opening up these views along the green on #2, the tee on #3, the tee on #7, and the tee on hole #15 in the upcoming weeks. We are excited with the overall course conditions and are always striving to provide our members and guests with an outstanding experience.
